Photography is an “environmental” art, unlike painters we don ‘t create on an empty canvass but have to take what’s around us as a starting point. Since I live and work in Warsaw, most of my photos are shot there. I would call them modern or contemporary street, since in them forms, patterns and contrasts are often as important as human element.
